The new R-sources of the same water-cooled parallel twin brothers feeding F800S. Move 798cc, 4-valve design DOHC is claimed by BMW to produce 87 horsepower at 8000rpm and 63 lb-ft of torque at 6000rpm. Changes in ODM model S has a modified exhaust and second gears, with gears 4-6 using a short relationship. Unlike its belt drive S and ST siblings, using a new F800R chain drive.
